In recent years YPA has embarked in creating a platform for local young people to become leaders in their own right, and to bring about the change needed within there peer groups.

 YPA Youth Advisory Group have a unique role to play as passionate campaigners, working alongside YPA staff to represent the views and interests of Mount Isa's young people as spokespeople.

 As a Youth Advisor you have the opportunity to help develop and promote YPA's advocacy campaigns through engaging with key policymakers and parliamentarians to address important child and youth rights issues both here in the region and Australia wide.

 You also have the opportunity to engage with peers through media and social networks and promote youth events, activities and programs occurring in Mount Isa and the surrounding region. If aged between 12 and 25 years, you are strongly encouraged to apply for this new and exciting role.
